Darilyn has recently completed her second year towards a Masters Degree in Education. She holds a Bachelor of Education, and has two decades of teaching experience.
Speaking:
Darilyn first became a member of Toastmasters International in 1996 and immediately earned her CTM and ATM distinctions. She went on to compete in speaking competitions winning at the club level, the area level, and the division level. She went on to compete at Regionals as well as serving in various capacities in the Toastmaster executive. She speaks at community events, chapels, church events, retreats, and conferences.
Her current campaign is Inspiring Purity corresponding with her new book series, Pure Sex.
Writing:
Darilyn attended Write Canada conference in 2006. By 2008, she was one of the finalists in The Word Guild's Best New Christian Author of the year for her first book, The Surprising Truth in Chick Flicks. She wrote companion books, Dragon Training for Wives, and Restoring Your Classic Model, on relationships in 2011. She has contributed multiple articles and devotionals for an upcoming book to be published in 2012. Her latest book is a series on Pure Sex.
Teaching:
Ms. Edmison is an accomplished Senior High School English teacher. Her students' standardized test scores check in at 7 - 19.4% above regional averages. She coaches students in writing contests, and many win awards and recognition for their work. Darilyn loves teaching Bible most of all, and is the chapel coordinator at her current teaching post.
